indopacificseashells.com

The Indo/Pacific region covers a vast area from the East coasts of Africa and Asia to the West coasts of North and South America. This area encompasses thousands of islands and continental habitats where over 4,000 marine mollusc species live.

I am a worldwide supplier of quality specimen seashells from this region including - Australia, New Guinea, the Philippines, Solomon Islands, Africa, India, Thailand, South America, and other Pacific islands. I stock quality specimen shells from most families including Cowries, Cones, Volutes, Murex, Mitres, Strombs, Olives, Bivalves and Land Snails.

I have been collecting, exchanging and selling specimens for 48 years so this site is another facet of the hobby I love. Now, it is not just the shells, but through the internet and email, it is meeting fellow collectors from all over the world and travelling to some amazing places to collect, as well, that makes this hobby so fascinating.

I collect the main families and a few minor ones also, but I am so often tempted to start on another family when I come across a beautiful specimen. I collect - Cowries, Cones, Volutes, Murex, Strombs, Olives, Terebra, Angaria, Latiaxis, Spondylus and Pecten.

Because this website is a one man show I would ask you to please be patient, this is not a business and therefore I do not have staff to answer emails, research data, fill orders, pack and post, so at times there will be delays and if I am away for a weekend, attending shows, or overseas collecting, you may not hear from me for awhile, but I do attempt to answer all emails and if I am away for an extended period I usually place a notice on my site.

I DO APOLOGISE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE AND SOMETIMES MY POOR SERVICE.

Please compare my prices, as I try and price my specimens below the normal market price. It may only be $1 or $2 on common specimens but may be $50-$300 on the uncommon/rarer species.

I have a money back guarantee on all my shells and can provide digital photos on my uncommon/rare specimens.

I hope you enjoy the website and find something of interest to help you in your hobby. Please consider my site when you next look for something special to enhance your collection, as I am sure I will be able to satisfy.
